Thmor Kral Waterfall - Best for Family Picnic

Thmor Kral Waterfall is a beautiful and environmentally friendly waterfall area, which is why local authorities established a waterfall resort community in 2015. But since the establishment, it has not been well-visited by general tourists. There have been few tourists in recent years. 

But fortunately on the occasion of the traditional Khmer New Year, the second day, which felled on April 15, there were tourists more than 3,000 people visiting the place. The number of tourists who visit the waterfall is overwhelming because of this, visitors to the pebble waterfall resort, when returning, they also posted pictures of the pebble waterfall online via social media, and the news began to spread. Thus, the New Year 2019, there were a lot of tourists arriving at the place. 

Thmor Kral Waterfall community has around 73 families, who paved the road to clear the forest to create a tourist area, then with the participation of donors, filled the road and some helped make kiosks. So far, there are 17 kiosks, where guests can sit and relax, and this will continue to develop further. 

Located in the light bamboo forest, the stream is so cold and clear, rapidly running on the stone carpet; that’s why it’s called Teuk Thleak Thmor Kral meaning the waterfall that streamflows on the laying stones. However, Teuk Thleak here is better described as a stream than a waterfall. With such a natural beauty, Thmor Kral waterfall is best for family picnic, friend gatherings or even camping on many occasions, especially New Year. 

Tourists who want to visit Thmor Kral Waterfall Resort may travel from Kampong Chhnang Provincial Town on Road No. 53 to reach Teuk Phos district market, continue to cross the railway line until near the pagoda in Khlong Popok, which is more than 30 kilometers, and turn right more than 20 kilometers of paved and red gravel roads to reach this beautiful resort.
