Nava Nalanda University invites online applications for admission 2020, with possible scholarship
Nava Nalanda Mahvihara, (Deemed University), Nalanda invites online applications for admissions in different courses through its website www.nnm.ac.in. Last date for submission of application form completed in all respect is 15.07.2020.
It is interesting to recall that NNM which is located in the ancient city of Rajgir is a university where Samdech Preah Mahaghosanda (Va Yav) spent his 14 years in India doing his studies from 1955 to 1969 and where he earned his PhD.
NNM is currently one of the five member universities of International Buddhist Confederation (New Delhi) that provides scholarships for students to undertake their studies in Pali and Buddhism in India. This special scholarship is available for students from Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Mongolia. Admissions to Ph.D./Post Graduate/Under Graduate/Diploma and Certificate Programmes shall be made on the basis of merit in the Proficiency (Written/Oral) Tests, subject to fulfillment of eligibility requirements and availability of seats in a pafticular course for which the candidate has applied and qualified in the Proficiency (Written/Oral) Test.
It is important to note General Information no. 3 that Foreign Nationals having foreign degrees are exempted from Proficiency (Written) Test (M.A., B.A. Hons., Diploma & Certificate Course). However, they would be required to appear for Oral Test which will be announced on website of Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda.
