ASEAN Scholarship to pursue higher studies at Nalanda University for Academic Batch 2020-22 with the last date to submit online application on 1st July 2020

- To pursue a 2-year Post Graduate Master’s Program at Nalanda University, Rajgir. Government of India is offering scholarships through the “ASEAN India Cooperation Fund” to eligible students from all ASEAN member states.

- Nālandā University is an avant-garde, postgraduate, research-intensive international institution of academic excellence for the pursuit of intellectual, philosophical, historical, and spiritual studies and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. The University is with Ministry of External Affairs and supported by the 17 Member States of the East Asia Summit.

Nalanda University is offering the following 2-year Post Graduate Master’s Program:

A. MBA in Sustainable Development and Management
B. Ecology and Environment Studies
C. Buddhist Studies, Philosophy & Comparative Religion
D. Historical Studies

Eligibility /Criteria for the above said Master’s Programs:

(i) 55% or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) in Under Graduate degree from any stream i.e. Humanities/Sciences/Engineering/Management/Law

For MBA: In addition to the above criteria, GMAT score is required for International students.

(ii)Applicants from Non-English speaking countries will need to submit a certificate of proficiency in following English language tests:

a) TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language)
b) IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
c) TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication)
d) PTE (Personal Test of English)
e) Any other standard English test used on international platform

OR

f) Completed a full-time degree-level course entirely taught and assessed in English

Selection

Step1: Student has to fill online application form: https://online.nalandauniv.edu.in/app/
Last date to submit online application: 1st July 2020

Step 2: Based on the eligibility criteria, fully completed applications will be shortlisted by the interview committee

Step 3: Selected candidates will be asked to appear in interview over Skype/Video call

Interviews for all the programs start from 31st March 2020. Since the ASEAN scholarship is very competitive, we advise students to apply as soon as possible.

Step 4: Candidates will be informed about the outcome of selection process through e-mail

Step 5: Offer letter will be sent to selected candidates. They will also be considered for scholarship and issue the admission offer letters.

Step 6: Selected students are advised to complete VISA formalities before joining the programme on the first week of August 2020
